In conjunction with the Park Forest Library, we will be hosting a Big Read event! This year, the Park Forest Library will be participating in the Big Read with events related to the book The Maltese Falcon by Dashiell Hammett. This book is a classic example of the ‘hard-boiled dectective’ genre, and a really enjoyable read besides! We’ll be hosting a book discussion on the date below. Check with the Park Forest Library for all of the Maltese Falcon events both before and after this one! What better way to enjoy a good book than with friends? The Big Read is an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services and Arts Midwest.
